In our school, we teach the different flamenco styles, the palos, the falsetas and the flamenco guitar technique; but we don’t stop there. Our main objective is to transmit the true passion for flamenco to the student. Keeping that objective in mind, we try to develop the student’s capacity and ability to express his feelings through the flamenco guitar.
In our flamenco guitar courses and classes, we always keep in mind the origin of modern flamenco guitar, which is the accompaniment to cante. Learning to accompany flamenco singers is a very important process in the formation of every flamenco guitarist. For different kinds of reasons, nowadays, due to different reasons, many guitarists don't have access to a proper training in this area. Apart from flamenco guitar classes, the Flamenco Guitar School Joaquín Herrera also offers accompaniment to cante classes.
